Alternatives to LinkedIn Learning/Lynda.com

For the past three years, the Ohio Public Library Information Network (OPLIN) has provided access to LinkedIn Learning for Ohio library cardholders.  Due to a significant price increase, OPLIN will not be able to renew this resource for another term.

LinkedIn Learning access will end for all Ohio library patrons on June 30, 2024.

Feel free to explore these alternative online learning platforms available for free with your Chillicothe & Ross County library card.

Gale Courses

Gale Courses is an online learning platform that offers access to hundreds of instructor-led online courses covering everything from health and wellness to creative writing, computer programming, GED test preparation and much more. Courses run for 6 weeks, with new sessions starting each month. Dedicated professional instructors coordinate every course by pacing learners, answering questions, giving feedback, and facilitating discussions. Certificates of completion are awarded for many courses. If the course you choose has a software requirement, and you need access to that software, please schedule a Tech Tutoring session to see if we are able to download the software on a library computer that you can use.
