New Updates for the SEO Libraries App

If you haven’t noticed already, the SEO Libraries App has had an upgrade!  If your iOS app fails to load and appears to be “stuck,” simply remove the app and reinstall it.  For Android users, the app should update automatically.  If it doesn’t, just head to the App Store and apply the update.

Here are some of the features included in the new update:

My Lists:  Patrons now have the ability to create and manage item lists within the app.  This feature empowers you to curate your reading and resource preferences.  Please note: The app list feature DOES NOT sync with “My Lists” in Enterprise, our online library catalog; it is a standalone feature of the app.

Reading Tracker:  The new Reading Trackers operates as a fitness tracker for reading. You can monitor your reading activity, set goals, and unlock virtual awards for your reading achievements. This gamified approach promotes reading engagement and motivation.

Chromebook Version: This update includes a dedicated Chromebook version of the app, which extends accessibility to a broader base, such as schools.

Seamless Scrolling:  The new version introduces a more intuitive browsing experience. Instead of traditional pages or tabs, users can now enjoy continuous scrolling, making navigation more fluid and user-friendly.

Home Screen Notifications:  The home screen now provides valuable notifications, such as hold availability alerts and overdues, without the need to navigate to the “My Account” section.  This enhancement ensures you stay informed and engaged without effort.

To verify that you are running the latest version of the SEO Libraries app, go to My Account > Preferences and scroll down to see the version (2023.1.10x).

If you haven’t already tried our Library App, take it for a spin!
