  1. What are your main duties in your position at the library?
As an Outreach Department Assistant, I put together collections of library materials to deliver to places like nursing homes, assistant living facilities, and recovery centers. I also help stock our library book lockers around the county with patron requested items and assist with visits of our bookmobile.
  2. What do you like to do in your free time outside of the library?
I love to watch sports and pro wrestling, play video games, listen to music, and hang out with my friends and family.
  3. What’s one thing people might not know about you?
One thing people might not know about me is that I am a decent drum player, I took lessons for three years.
  4. What’s a current TV show or movie you are enjoying?
    Abbott Elementary.
  5. What is something that you can’t live without?
    My family.
  6. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where you would you go and why?
I would love to visit Japan. I’ve always been a fan of Japanese culture such as the food, history, and entertainment like anime. There also are many beautiful sights, both natural and architectural.
  7. What’s a book you like to recommend to everyone?
Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury. It emphasizes the importance of free thought and individuality, which I think is crucial in today’s society.
  8. What’s one of your favorite library resources/services?
One of my favorite library resources is the Newspaper Archive. I’m a history buff, so to be able to go back and see how certain events were reported on during the time they occurred is very interesting to me.

My favorite part about working at CRCPL is being able to help patrons and establish relationships with them. It gives me a lot of joy to assist in improving someone’s day.
