Susan Bell is the Enrichment Clerk at the Paxton Branch and has worked at the library for almost eight years!

  1. What do you like to do in your free time outside of the library?
    Horse back riding, hiking, going to live theatre.

  2. What’s one thing people might not know about you?
    I taught English in Taiwan for two years in the early 2000s.

  3. What’s a current TV show or movie you are enjoying?
    I would highly recommend the indie film Ghostlight about a construction worker who joins a community theatre production of Romeo & Juliet. I also recently finished the third season of Professor T, a British mystery series.

  4. What is something that you can’t live without?
    I do love my coffee. 😉

  5. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where you would you go and why?
    I would love to go back to Paris.
  6. What’s a book you like to recommend to everyone?
    Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day by Winifred Watson
  7. What’s one of your favorite library resources/services?
    We have wonderful genealogy resources and I’m a genealogy geek. I love helping patrons find out more about their family history.

  8. What’s your favorite part about working at CRCPL?
    I love the people—my coworkers and patrons. In these divisive times the library can be a refuge.
