  1. What are your main duties in your position at the library?
I assist the Enrichment Director with daily routines & workflow at the Main Library, supervise clerks, handle issues from the public as well as employees in the Enrichment Department, work public service as needed, order Interlibrary Loan (ILL) books for the public, and many other related duties.

  2. What do you like to do in your free time outside of the library?
I enjoy reading inspirational books as well as books by African-American fiction authors, spending time with my family, trying new recipes, and listening to good music.

  3. What’s one thing people might not know about you?
I share something very special with two of my family members. My father, Robert. J. Robinson Sr., was President of the Ross County NAACP for 19 years (I’m in my 9th year as President), and my daughter, Ashley, and I were both Debutante Princesses, just different years (1982 & 2004).

  4. What’s a current TV show or movie you are enjoying?
During the pandemic, my husband & I needed some comic relief so we started watching episodes of Everybody Loves Raymond and we still watch it almost every night.

  5. What is something that you can’t live without?
    My relationship with God.

  6. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where you would you go and why?
I would really like to go to Mumbai, India to see where my husband was born.

  7. What’s a book you like to recommend to everyone?
Battlefield of the Mind by Joyce Meyer

  8. What’s one of your favorite library resources/services?
You can’t beat the Beyond Books collection! Who would have ever thought you could check out bikes, hotspots, telescopes, a metal detector, cake pans, and a whole range of other items from the Library?

  9. What’s your favorite part about working at CRCPL?
Honestly, my favorite part of working at the library has been making long-lasting friends with some of my co-workers & patrons and being able to assist and connect people with resources in our community.
