Throw down on the hardwood or bounce into hardbacks? It’s time for March Madness and another round of the library’s Tournament of Books!

As you’ll recall, last year we invited you to take a literary journey. This year, we’re delving into the novel lives of our favorite animals.

How to play–

There are 32 pairs of animals on the bracket. Pick your favorites. After week one, based on all the votes, we’ll narrow the list to 16. After week two it’s winnowed to 8, etc. By the end of March, we will have one winning animal. You can play every week!

Print your bracket (or pick up a copy at the library) and make your selections. It will ultimately come down to your top choice (the pink) and your bottom choice (the yellow). Give your choices to a staff member by 5 pm on Sunday, March 31st and you’ll be entered into a random drawing for a Wheatberry Books gift certificate. You don’t have to have chosen the final winner to be entered. The drawing will be Tuesday, April 2.

Not familiar with one of these books? Search the catalog or ask a librarian. Maybe you’ll find a new favorite (or re-discover an old one). Have fun!
