This month we say goodbye to our retiring board member, Mr. Thomas Williamson. Tom has volunteered as a valued member of the Library Board of Trustees since June of 2008. His 38-year career as an educator/administrator in Ross County speaks for itself. He has been a classroom teacher, a school principal and was Superintendent of Paint Valley Local School District. Tom has been an active patron of the Paxton Branch Library for many years.
After his retirement in 1997, Tom became Executive Director of Ross County Children Services Board. In 2002 when Children Services combined with Ross County Job and Family Services, he was appointed the Children’s Division Administrator. He currently serves as Treasurer of the First Capital Enterprise Board, and as Finance Chairperson of the Bainbridge United Methodist Church Executive Committee.
Tom breadth of knowledge and dedication will be missed by the library and the board, and we wish him well in his “retirement.”
Thank you Tom!
